Mentor meeting 1/2/16

Rethinking themes

Sharon gave me some advice to think  about different words I could use as each theme. Below is the lift of the themes for each character & what they are God or Goddess of within Greek Mythology.

Zeus – God (male) God of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods.
Gordon sisters  – Stone (female). The Gorgons were three monsters who were sisters. Their faces were ugly and their hair was replaced by snakes; anyone who would gaze into their eyes would be turned to stone instantly.
Aphrodite – Desire (female). Goddess of love, desire and beauty.
Hades – Underworld (male). Lord of the underworld and ruler of the dead.
Hecate – Witchcraft (female). Goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy.
Athena – Courage (female). Goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, the arts and crafts.

Being asked to rethink the words for the themes of the shoots made me feel uneasy because I didn't know exactly how to go about this. I began by looking at synonyms for the original words above in bold. When finding these new words I tried to think about the overall aesthetic of the shoots, ensuing that it would all tie in together.

New re-thought words
Zeus - Lord, Almighty
Gordon sisters - Serpent (snake)
Aphrodite - Devotion, fascination, lust, passion, adoration, elegance, grace
Hades - Disease, destruction
Hecate - Voodoo, twilight, obscurity
Athena - Heroism, savvy, poise, vision.

We were also told to go back and make a more accurate production schedule throughout the final major project along with a lot more detail than originally made. This is good because it allows me to know weekly what I have and haven't done and should help me keep up to date with my work.  The new updated production schedule is below as followed:
